This cake is similar, made without all the problems and jellies.Usually fruit cake with graham crackers or vanilla wafers.

MOM'S PINEAPPLE ICEBOX CAKE
2 C. milk
£ 1 Marshmallows
1 C. cream
1 teaspoon of tea. Vanilla
1 (no. 2) crushed pineapple, drained
2 vanilla wafer crumbs or cookie crumbs C.
Bring the milk to a boil. Add marshmallows in the milk, stirring until marshmallows dissolve. Cool. Cream, add vanilla. Once the marshmallow mixture. Add the drained pineapple.
Sprinkle half the cookie crumbs in bottom of oblong pan. Pour cream mixture over the crumbs pineapple, spread evenly. Add breadcrumbs to the top of the mixture.
Cold in the night. Maraschino cherries and walnuts with pineapple are added, if desired.
Note: This can cope with any fruit such as cherries, blueberries, apples, etc. Or did you use to be drained, fill fruit or cake.
